"I had a, ahem, terrible French teacher. I took her class for two years for my high school language requirement. I don't know why I just didn't take Spanish but I was like, I'm gonna learn another language. Wrong! I spent two years in that class and I learned nothing, absolutely nothing except what verbal abuse feels like in French. For our final project, she like made us learn how to cook French things. My dumb butt picked macarons. Little did I know how complicated they were to make. I did eventually get it right but it took a couple of tries. I never learned how to make the filling though, I still just get Betty Crocker buttercream and just smear it into the shells."
